Amtrac at The Regency Ballroom: Frequently Asked Questions
When is Amtrac performing at The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco?
Amtrac is scheduled to perform at The Regency Ballroom on Friday, November 27, 2026. Check your ticket details and event updates before traveling, as show information can change.
What kind of show can I expect from Amtrac?
Amtrac, the artist project of DJ, producer, and musician Caleb Cornett, blends melodic house, progressive house, indie dance, and electronic music. Expect a dancefloor-focused DJ or electronic performance with evolving synth textures and club lighting. His recent Anjunadeep releases include the Generator EP, and the six-track Civilian World EP is scheduled for release in May 2026.
How much do Amtrac tickets cost?
Prices currently start around $40, with many tickets expected to fall in the $40?$150 range. Ticket prices can change as inventory and market demand shift, and the final price may vary by ticket type and availability. Review the listed price and any applicable fees before checkout on ticketsoakland.org.
How long does an Amtrac set usually last?
Amtrac's club DJ-set runtime depends on the event schedule and billing. Unlike a fixed concert setlist, a DJ set can vary from night to night and may include original tracks, remixes, extended mixes, and other melodic or progressive house selections. The exact set time and any opening acts have not been confirmed for this event; check the event listing for updates.
Will Amtrac play songs from the Civilian World and Generator EPs?
A confirmed track-by-track setlist is not available, and DJ sets are subject to change. Recent material such as ?Civilian World,? ?High Speed Ring,? ?Generator,? ?Pursuit,? and ?Digital Response? may fit the show, alongside selections from Amtrac's broader catalog, but no specific songs are guaranteed.
Where is The Regency Ballroom, and what is the venue like?
The Regency Ballroom is a historic event venue at 1300 Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco. Its concert configuration can include a standing dancefloor and elevated or reserved viewing areas, depending on the event setup. Confirm the seating or general-admission details on the event listing, since the layout can vary.
What are the best and worst places to watch the show?
For an immersive electronic set, the dancefloor offers close proximity to the DJ booth and a lively crowd, but it can be busy. An elevated viewing area, if offered for this event, can provide a broader view and more room. There is no single worst spot, but standing at the back or behind tall guests may limit your view; choose based on your preferred balance of dancing, space, and sightlines.
Is parking available near The Regency Ballroom?
Paid parking garages and metered street parking may be available in the surrounding area, but spaces can fill quickly on event nights. Check posted signs carefully for street restrictions and allow extra time to find a space. For easier arrival, consider reserving a garage spot in advance or using public transportation or a rideshare.
How can I get to The Regency Ballroom by public transportation?
San Francisco Muni buses serve the Van Ness Avenue area, and the venue is accessible from nearby transit connections. Routes and service can change, so check current Muni schedules and plan your trip before leaving. Allow additional time for the walk to the entrance and post-show travel.
What are The Regency Ballroom's bag and age policies?
Bag rules and age restrictions are set by the venue and event organizers, and a specific policy for this performance has not been confirmed here. Review the venue's current entry requirements before attending, and bring only what is permitted. Some Amtrac club events have been listed as 21+, so do not assume this show is all-ages; verify the age requirement on the event listing.

Chelsea Handler--Hit & Miss
I just love Amtrac's live show on tv, but I can't quite say the same as her. The show started out with a bang, but fizzled by the end of just over an hour. Deep down inside me, I believe that was what I was hoping for. The first comedian, sorry her name doesn't come to mind right now, was great. Too bad she only did approx a 30 minute show. The night could have been better if the theatre employees did their job. Some woman behind, thank God not that close, constantly talked throughout the show. There was also a great deal of noise coming from the makeshift bar area they had outside of the theatre entrance. I kept looking at my watch.
